A GAVSAI candle is not just a product—it’s an experience. To ensure your sculptural candle burns cleanly, lasts long, and maintains its aesthetic form, proper use and care are essential.

Here’s your complete guide to getting the most from your GAVSAI candle.

️ Before the First Burn

Trim the wick to about 5 mm (¼ inch) before lighting. This helps prevent soot and ensures an even burn.

Choose a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from wind or direct sunlight.

Allow the first burn to last 2–3 hours or until the wax pool reaches the edge. This prevents tunneling and sets the candle memory.

Fun fact: Soy wax “remembers” the pattern of the first burn—so take your time!

 During Use

Trim the wick each time before re-lighting to avoid smoke or uneven flames.

Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Overheating can damage the candle’s form.

Never move a burning candle. Always wait until the wax is solid.

If your GAVSAI candle is sculptural (e.g., flower, torso, pillar shape), place a ceramic or metal plate underneath to catch melted wax.

 Cleaning and Maintenance

If the wick becomes buried or uneven, gently recenter it while the wax is warm.

To remove dust, use a soft brush or dry microfiber cloth—avoid using water.

Store unused candles in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent discoloration or scent degradation.
