The story behind scented candle creation

A ray of light, a scent that awakens memories
—The story of the creation of the "First Light" scented candle
As dusk deepens, the light dances in the shadows. A paintbrush wanders across the desk, capturing the gentle light and shadow of bygone days.
Since his youth, Hu Xuebing has been deeply fascinated by light and shadow. From his brushwork as a muralist at the Central Academy of Fine Arts to the dazzling design of the "Shenzhou" spacecraft logo, he has used the language of art to capture fleeting, timeless moments. However, one day, he discovered that the most evocative memory wasn't what he saw, but rather a deep, olfactory remembrance.
On a trip back to his hometown to visit family, he walked through a familiar alley. The dim evening light shone through an old house, mingling with the warm, pine-scented aroma of burning resin, instantly transporting him back to the courtyard of his childhood. He recalled the pine resin burning by his grandmother's hand as she carved wood, and the candles his mother held as she embroidered under the lamplight. The soft flickering light and shadow exuded a sense of peace and tranquility. Back in his studio, he had a sudden inspiration: to incorporate the aesthetic principles of sculpture into the candle's design. Instead of a traditional cylindrical shape, the candle's form became a fluid, geometric silhouette, resembling a miniature sculpture. As the candle slowly burned, light and shadow filtered through the meticulously crafted wax, casting a delicate and shifting play of light and shadow, like a flowing mural.

Continuously experimenting and adjusting, he added natural flowers and rare resins, allowing the fragrance of the scent to blend with the artistic form of the wax. Finally, the scented candle, named "First Light," was born.
"First Light" symbolizes the beginning of all beautiful stories. Every wisp of fragrance, every ray of light, quietly unlocks the tenderest parts of our memories. It's more than just a scented candle; it's a living, heartwarming sculpture, embodying Hu Xuebing's delicate and unique understanding of light, memory, and life.

As the first light shines, may you rediscover yourself in its warm glow.
